Farrah Abraham Pays Tribute To Late Boyfriend On Anniversary Of His Passing

Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham grieved the passing of Derek Underwood, the father of her 12-year-old daughter, Sophia. The Teen Mom OG alum shared a touching post on Instagram on the anniversary of his death,

Farrah shared a small clip of Derek’s grave in Missouri while she reflected on his death. The Teen Mom talked about coping with her loss and how it changed her as a person in the captions. Derek died 13 years ago in a car crash on December 28, 2008, a month before Sophia was born.

“13 years later, I’m grateful I see ‘FATHER’ on your headstone today. I’m grateful for our family, I’ve learned more about the human condition, bereavement, trauma, loss, & depression. Your life has made a world of difference to mine and so many others,” she added. “In Living Memory, Peace & Love to DEREK UNDERWOOD. The Love Of My Life & FATHER to our amazing & blessed @sophialabraham.”

Farrah ended the post by saying, “A thank you, A good bye, A Always in my mind, [and] giving me strength to make the world a better place.” This isn’t the first time Farrah is publicly mourning the death of her late boyfriend.

She is obviously going through a lot as she remembered that tragic day.
