Joe Francis has recently been all over the news and for the wrong reasons. The Gone Girl founder previously claimed that his baby mama kidnapped their daughters. However, Abbey Wilson’s lawyer has now come forward to share her client’s side of the story.

According to TMZ, Abbey Wilson’s lawyer claims that his client is not missing and has full, temporary custody of her children. The lawyer goes on to claim Joe has been physically and verbally abusive to Abbey and has not provided any financial support in more than a year. The lawyer further revealed Abbey has not been charged with kidnapping.

The lawyer for Abbey Wilson, Ronald Richards, tells TMZ, his client is not missing, and says she has full, temporary custody of her children. Richards goes on to claim Joe has been physically and verbally abusive to Abbey and has not provided any financial support in more than a year. The lawyer says Abbey has not been charged with kidnapping.

Previously, Joe claimed that Abbey has been defying court orders to allow Joe to visit their twin daughters, and the trio has vanished. Joe said that he was meant to have the girls for Christmas, but his longtime girlfriend never showed up on his doorstep with them.

Abbey is also accused of family violence. The authorities have been unable to serve her with legal papers as they can’t find her as she hasn’t been living at her listed address for at least 6 months. Abbey and the kids are are now living with another man according to Joe.

As of now, we don’t know which parent is telling the truth. Whatever it may be, we just hope that the girls are safe.
