Eminem’s contributions to hip-hop culture is incalculable. Eminem’s achievements continue to mount one by one. Eminem is also not afraid to remind audiences about his humble roots, as he was poor as a child and was depicted as such in the film 8 Mile.

Eminem appears to be bulldozing his way to another milestone. Before the end of 2021, “The Slim Shady LP” could have 1 billion streams. To reach a critical milestone and set a new streaming record, SSLP requires fewer than 2 million fresh streams.

Eminem’s major label debut has 998,685,096 streams to its name as of today. When Eminem.Pro released the data two weeks ago and encouraged fans to stream the record, it had 975 million streams. The excitement of fans who stream and support “The Slim Shady LP” is apparent, with the project receiving over 1 million daily streams.

If the community keeps pushing, SSLP might reach the 1 billion mark in a matter of days. Eminem will set even another streaming record with this achievement. Marshall became the first artist to have ten albums with over one billion Spotify plays in June 2020.
