Alex Jones has made a career out of spewing nonsensical conspiracy theories on his internet talk show. The widely discredited right-wing talking head has been proven wrong time and time again. He has admitted in court that no reasonable person would believe anything he says.

That is why Twitter was absolutely foaming at the mouth with vitriol after news broke of a Christmas Eve domestic violence incident involving his wife, Erika Jones. Alex described a “medication imbalance” as the reason for the behavior. It’s an interesting take from somebody who has made millions convincing his followers that pharmaceuticals are poison.

Social media users delighted in dragging Jones in the wake of the incident. He was accused of everything from being a shill for big pharma to cancelling Christmas. Nothing was off the table as the sane portion of the American public loved the chance to give Jones a taste of his own medicine.

“Narrator’s voice: In fact, she DID cancel Christmas”

“I can hardly watch Alex Jones talk for 5 minutes without damn near having a nervous breakdown. His wife must be superhuman.”

“[And] Alex asked for privacy as it was a “family matter”. Really after what he did to the families of Sandy Hook? Privacy? He’s a joke.”

“Alex Jones should file Domestic violence charge AGAINST HIMSELF!!”

Alex Jones is notorious for profiting from lies that prey upon the public’s fear. He is also quick to play the victim when his hypocrisy is exposed. This year, he got a Christmas present that he won’t soon forget.
