Alex Jones’ Wife Arrested On Domestic Charges

Right wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones is always at the center of controversy because of his own actions and statements. However, in this case, it’s his wife who has become subject to the controversy.

Jones’ wife Erika Wulff Jones was taken into custody to Austin jail after being booked and processed. She was booked in the jail at around 8:45 p.m. Friday, according to the police reports.

Jones stated that a “medication imbalance” is the reason of the domestic violence charges against her. She was arrested on Christmas Eve, and had a flurry of misdemeanor charges for assaulting a family member as well as refuse to co-operate for search and resisting arrest.

The InfoWars founder and presenter refused to comment on the arrest or if he incurred any injuries from the assault. He emphasized that it is a strictly private matter while talking to Associated Press in an interview.

It’s a private family matter that happened on Christmas Eve. I love my wife and care about her and it appears to be some kind of medication imbalance.

Jones has been dealing countering subpoenas issued against him by the committee in charge of investigation the Capitol Hall attacks. Jones had spoken in a rally before the incident, which implicates him. One of his colleagues, Owen Shroyer, was arrested, and has maintained his innocence.
