Following “90 Day Fiance” alum Jason Hitch’s tragic death due to Covid-19, his family wants to raise awareness about the virus. They want to convince doubters to open their eyes and get vaccinated.

Jason’s sister, Shannon Speagle, spoke to TMZ about her brother’s death. She is devastated after the death of his brother who died battling Covid-19. She shared that Jason wasn’t vaccinated. She also urged others to be responsible and get vaccinated as soon as possible.

Shannon said the death of Jason should highlight the importance of getting vaccinated. She also advised everyone to take every preventative measure they can against Covid, even if they think they’re healthy.

His sister, who is vaccinated, shared that she used to often ague with Jason about getting the vaccine. He was an anti-vaxxer, at least when it came to Covid. While he was alive, he used to share his misinformation with the public about the vaccine not being effective.

During their final conversation, Shannon urged him to get vaccinated. He was planning on visiting her and her children. Shannon said, ultimately he refused to get vaccinated and cancelled the visit.

The most disappointing part of this is when Jason caught Covid, Shannon said she was hesitant about calling him as she thought it might come off as her rubbing it in his face. It wasn’t until Jason was hospitalized that she understood the severity of his condition. She soon flew out to see him.

By the time she reached Jason, he was already sedated and put on ventilator. She said, it was the worst sight she had ever seen. Shannon was by his bedside when Jason passed away last week.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Jason’s family. Let us know your thoughts on Covid-19 below.
