Jake Paul has been blowing up lately in the boxing scene after a succession of wins against opponents. He has yet to lose a match in his career. What comes with a match is a lot of money and Jake after his recent win against Tyron Woodley has bagged some serious dough.

According to the MEN, YouTube star’s boxing victory over former MMA fighter Tyron Woodley this weekend could have potentially scored him almost a whopping £3.8 million ($5 million).

Paul was originally set to fight Tommy Fury on 18 December in Tampa, Florida, but the Manchester-based boxer pulled out last minute due to injuries. Tyron Woodley, who has fought Paul before, soon stepped up to stand in Fury’s place.

Paul, 24, won the pair’s first fight on 29 August this year by split decision and banked an estimated £3.8 million. Although it has not yet been announced what the pair earned from their 18 December fight, it is believed both men could have earned the same sum this time around, with Woodley missing out on a £377,000 knockout bonus.

Paul had a lot to say this weekend after the fight.

“This is as real as it gets, just like my right hand. I told you I was going to f**k him up. And I f****d him up. This guy is a legend and respect him for taking the fight on two weeks’ notice. It was a tough fight. I had blood in my eyes. I had the job done. I was setting the punch up the whole fight. He didn’t see it coming. Like a lumberjack, timber. It’s got to be the moment of my life. Look at my year. Four fights, four knockouts. Masvidal and Nate Diaz – you are b*tch for leaving this arena. I will f*** you up too. Anyone, anytime, anyplace.”

Paul finished the fight with a KO in the sixth round, taking his victory for a second time against Woodley. The social media influencer’s boxing record is now five wins to zero after landing the only big swing of the fight. His monolithic overhand in the fight’s sixth-round knocked Tyron flat out without a shadow of hope that the MMA fighter might recover.

Although Jake ended the fight with a nasty gash on his head, he did just fine. This fight will boost his confidence and will push him more into the MMA scene which he wants to try out. We will be watching closely as to how he finds his feet in the hexagon later on.
