Hocus Pocus is one of the most loved franchises by Disney. The first film arrived in 1993, and instantly became successful. The cast of Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy takes much of the credit for the film’s success, as their musical numbers gained an iconic status.

The actresses filled the shoes of characters Winnie, Sarah, and Mary, who helped the film gain most success with their iconic musical performances. One of the most memorable sequences from the film was seeing them literally cast a spell while performing I Put A  Spell On You at a Halloween party.

Anne Fletcher, known for The Proposal, is on the directorial helm for the project. The sequel is currently under shooting at Rhode Island, which takes on the role of Salem, MA for the film.

Hocus Pocus Guide took to Instagram in order to show the fans a musical number the actresses were filming on the set. The actresses showed off their dresses, and Midler gave both of her co-stars high fives after nailing the takes. Fans have been going wild over the released footages.

The film’s plot leaked on social media. A toned-down version of the story is that it will follow the three sisters being reawakened, and trying to hunt down exactly who called them back to the physical plane almost three-decades later.
