9lokkNine won’t be laying down any bars on tracks for the next seven years, because he will be behind bars instead.

According to legal documents obtained by Click Orlando, 9lokkNine will spend the next seven or more years in prison. The rapper received an 87-month prison sentence on Wednesday after pleading guilty to possession of an unregistered firearm and more charges.

Those additional guilty pleas were for identity theft and a felony possession of a firearm charge. 9lokkNine was also charged with fraudulently applying for the federal Paycheck Protection Program. He received over $10k in pandemic relief funds that was supposed to be for a small business. Authorities recovered more than $7k of those stolen funds.

The rapper was also ordered to pay $10,416 in restitution. He must also enter a drug treatment program as part of a future three-year sentence on supervised release.

Those charges will not spell the end of 9lokkNine’s bad time in court. He is also awaiting trial for attempted second-degree murder. That charge stems from a July 2020 shooting where he fired a gun into a home occupied by a woman and her kids. He was allegedly targeting a rival rapper at the time.
