Holly Madison was part of the Girls Next Door reality TV series, a show based on the lives of Playboy playmates. The show was specifically about those girls who were in a relationship with Hugh Hefner. It turns out that partnership wasn’t all sunny.

Madison claims Hugh Hefner “literally pushed on top” of her on their first date. Holly lived in the Playboy Mansion with her then-boyfriend Hugh from 2001 until 2008. She has also documented her life as a Playboy in her book Down the Rabbit Hole.

Holly Madison is speaking out about her life in the Playboy mansion on the Power: Hugh Hefner podcast. Holly said that she didn’t know how bad things could get on her first night in the mansion. The Girl Next Door star thought she would get the opportunity to “see” and get to know everything first.

“I wasn’t necessarily expecting to have sex that night, I thought it would be more of a, like, first date…. I thought it would be more the type of thing where I saw what happened, saw what was going on. If I wasn’t comfortable with it I wouldn’t have to do anything and I could make my decision on whether I wanted to come back for date number two or not.”

“I was wasted, he was literally pushed on top of me, and after it happened, I was just mortified and embarrassed and it had way more of an emotional impact on me than I thought it would.”

Having Hugh Hefner pushed on top of her left Holly with an emotional trauma she is unable to forget. Holly said that it wasn’t that the idea of possibly having sex with Hugh that repelled her so much after but the “group aspect” of it.

Things moved far quicker for the model than expected. The Vegas Diaries author was left “mortified and embarrassed” by the events of their first date. “It was more the group aspect that was really out of my comfort zone and just the feeling of ‘Wow, OK, that happened. Everybody knows it happened,'” she explained. “I kind of all of a sudden felt like everybody was going to know about me, and I was horrified by it.” Madison recounted.

While reflecting on her time at the Playboy Mansion in docuseries Secrets of Playboy, The 41-year-old recalled the Playboy owner branding her as “old, hard and cheap” in a new documentary. Hefner died at his home in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, California, on September 27, 2017, at the age of 91. The cause of death was sepsis brought on by an E. coli infection.

Cardi B recently received the gig of Founding Creative Director in Residence at Playboy. They also intend to start a creator-led platform called “Centerfold” under Cardi B’s leadership. So, things might improve for future models associated with the publishing company.
