OJ Simpson is now a completely free man. The former football star’s parole was discharged earlier this month. That means he will no longer be subject to supervision by the state of Nevada.

TMZ Sports reported that Nevada State Police confirmed that Simpson’s parole ended in early December. He’s been on parole since October 1, 2017. He earned his early release via good behavior credits. The original date for the end of OJ’s parole was February 9, 2022. His attorney, Malcom Lavergne, made a statement following the news to the Associated Press.

“Mr. Simpson is a completely free man now.”

The Juice served nine years behind bars for his conviction in an armed robbery case in 2008. OJ was found guilty of leading a group of men into a Las Vegas hotel room. His objective was to steal back memorabilia that the Heisman Trophy winner said belonged to him to begin with.

His original sentence was 33 years. OJ was paroled and allowed to be released subject to probationary terms. Now, he is no longer subject to those terms. He was famously acquitted of the double murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown, and her friend Ronald Goldman in the mid-1990’s.

OJ Simpson has been living in Las Vegas since his release. He frequently updates his Twitter on topics related to the NFL. Occasionally, OJ even talks politics. He was even recently shot down by a young lady at a bar and the video went viral on TikTok. It is unknown if he plans to leave Nevada now that his parole is over, and he can legally travel.
