Ben Affleck recently opened up about rekindling his romance with Jennifer Lopez, saying he had second thoughts about reuniting with the singer due to the his three kids.
The 49-year-old was a guest on The Howard Stern Show where he admitted he was hesitant about reigniting his relationship with Lopez, 52. Affleck has three kids – Samuel (9), Seraphina (12) and Violet (16) – with former wife Jennifer Garner.
“It crossed my mind for sure. My responsibility to my children is the highest responsibility. I don’t want to do anything that is painful or destructive to them if I can help it,” he told host Howard Stern.
“That being said, I know that my life affects them. Me and their mom are celebrities and that is hard, let’s not bullsh*t each other right? That is a cross to bear. It is an albatross already. So, I have tried to live my life in a way, and then during the divorce they printed f*cking horrible lies.”
The “Gone Girl” actor reunited with Lopez earlier this year – nearly 20 years after initial breakup. During their split, Affleck moved onto Garner while Lopez married singer Marc Anthony – whom she divorced in 2014.
