Keanu Reeves is all set to play Neo again in The Matrix Resurrection, releasing on December 22. There has been a lot of hype attached to the literal resurrection of the critically acclaimed franchise and fans can’t wait for it to be released.
Now, in an interview with Den of Geek, Jessica Henwick who plays the role of “Bugs” in the new Matrix film, has talked about a possible surprising cameo.
Henwick said that the filming for the Matrix happened in San Francisco and coincidentally, Venom: Let There Be Carnage was also being shot in the same area at the time.
Tom Hardy, the star of the Venom franchise, had decided to stop by on the set of The Matrix and according to Henwick, we might catch a glimpse of Hardy in the new movie.
We were filming in San Francisco at the same time as Venom 2, and I met Tom Hardy. And so, Tom Hardy and I are running in the background of one of the scenes. And I’m so curious to see whether it made the cut.
Hardy’s potential cameo could be a fun Easter Egg for fans to find in The Matrix Resurrections. There are also rumors circulating everywhere stating that Hardy’s Venom could make an appearance in the new Spiderman: No Way Home movie.
