Method Man is currently starring on the 50 Cent-produced “Power Book II: Ghost”. The rapper has his eyes on loftier goals, however. He said he wants to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Method Man recently talked to Insider about his personal fitness. The rapper and actor says he’s got the body to star in an action film. He’s waiting for a call from Marvel.

“Maturity is when you look in the mirror and you get tired of your own BS. And that was it for me, you know, I was just wanting to change. I wanted to do something for myself instead of for everybody else. I can only be responsible for my actions and hope it inspires the next generation to do the same.”

This whole journey wasn’t necessarily for [acting]. It was for myself, but I think I’m ready. I got the shirt-off action film thing. I could run, stoic, face straight, running with your shirt off kinda thing. You know, I’m ready, man. Come on Marvel. Come on Russo brothers, I’m here.”

The Russo brothers directed four MCU films. They were behind Captain America: Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, as well as the Avengers’ Infinity War and Endgame. Method Man wants to hear from them soon.

He did appear in one Marvel television show in the past. Method Man made as himself in “Luke Cage”. He was the victim of a robbery in a convenience store and the titular character came to save the day.
