Basketball fans in Atlanta let PJ Washington know what they thought of his very public social media drama over the weekend. The Charlotte Hornets visited Hotlanta on the heels of a back-and-forth on social media between Washington and ex-girlfriend Brittany Renner. Fans let him know what they thought about the whole situation.

As he was shooting free throws, Hawks fans began to chant Renner‘s name. The chants were clearly audible during the game broadcast. Washington told Renner to stop the lies. Brittany then threatened to release several private messages between the couple in response to his tweet.

“I have 127 screenshots and 30 videos…what you wanna do?”

Brittany Renner said she wanted Washington to address her directly rather than via passive aggressive social media posts. She also trolled PJ with a photo of Marlin from “Finding Nemo” captioned “Where’s my f*cking son?”

Renner found out about the trolling on Sunday. She responded again on social media to the chants. Brittany thought it was funny.

“Glad you made it though BD @PJWashington”

The Hornets power forward has been a major contributor for his team this season. He’s averaging 10.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.7 assists. Charlotte currently sits at 14-11 on the season. They are in position to make a playoff run if their players can just keep away from the distractions.
