LeBron James’s contributions to the world of professional basketball cannot be understated. James suffered a serious injury to his right ankle in the Lakers’ game against the Atlanta Hawks back in March. Even after coming back, James has never been the same.

LeBron James finally made his return during the Lakers game against the Detroit Pistons. Unfortunately, his return did not pan out the way he expected as James was ejected from the game. This is because a huge brawl broke out after James accidentally hit Detroit forward Isaiah Stewart.

Even after that, King James tested positive for COVID-19, due to which he will miss out on several games. However, LeBron James was also recently cleared to make a return as well.

James was able to play in the Lakers game against the Clippers. James was originally expected to miss several games after testing positive for COVID-19. However, after testing negative twice, he was cleared to play against the Clippers.

While speaking to reporters after the game, LeBron James expressed his frustration with NBA’s health and safety protocols after the false positive test.

Pretty confused, frustrated, angry. Just not being able to do anything. I haven’t been able to do anything,” James said. “Been sitting at the house since I got back Monday evening all the way until like I got cleared at four o’clock yesterday afternoon. This morning was the first time I got to actually to touch a basketball since Sunday’s game versus Detroit.

I knew I was gonna get cleared, because I never, ever felt sick at all. And I know you can be asymptomatic. But, if what I had was a positive COVID test, then what are we doing? Like what are talking about? I just thought it was handled very poorly.”

Despite the haphazard way of conducting the tests, the Los Angeles Lakers can be rest assured that LeBron James is healthy and be able to play games regularly now.
