Derek Jeter just welcomed his third child with wife, Hannah Jeter. The MLB great’s website “The Players’ Tribune” announced the good news on Twitter.
The tweet was made on Saturday afternoon. This came as a surprise to fans who had no idea that the couple was expecting. The former Yankee and his model wife welcomed their third daughter named “River Rose Jeter” on December 2.
The very private couple are largely out of the spotlight. Hannah even opened up about keeping her family life strictly off social media in a 2019 interview with Editorialist magazine.
Derek Jeter and the sports illustrated model Hannah began dating as early as 2012 and tied the knot in July 2016. Their first daughter Bella Raine was born in August 2017. Their second daughter Story Grey joined the family in January 2019.
Hannah and the 2 kids were seen attending Jeter’s National Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremony three months ago. The MLB great dedicated part of his Hall-of-Fame speech to his daughters and wife Hannah.
The last time the pair was pictured out together publicly was in October attending the Turn 2 Foundation Gala. The 31-year-old model was seen without a baby bump, leading to the speculation that the pair’s third child may have been welcomed via surrogate.
