Nicki Minaj is certainly one of the most established female rappers in the Hip-Hop world. She has already broken quite a few records in her decade-long career and that isn’t going to change anytime soon. Minaj is also an expert in breaking the internet whenever she feels like it.

In spite of all her popularity, that doesn’t make her immune to becoming a subject of controversy from time to time. She previously tweeted a very controversial narrative when it came to COVID-19 vaccines.

Charlamagne Tha God and Nicki Minaj were good friends at one point in time. However, when Tha God deemed Nicki Minaj’s ‘Anaconda’ as trash, Minaj and his relationship soured.

She would go on to say that The Breakfast Club host led a “hate train” against her, something that he would later deny. While speaking on a recent interview, Charlamagne Tha God made it clear his relationship with Nicki Minaj isn’t good right now and hoped that he can bury the hatchet with her in the future.

“What celebrity would I like to make amends with…probably Nicki Minaj,” said Charlamagne. “Me and Nicki used to be super, we used to be really cool. Yeah, I was very vocal about not liking the ‘Anaconda’ record back in the day and, yeah, definitely, probably Nicki. I got a lotta respect for Nicki. What Nicki has done is unprecedented. She revitalized female Hip Hop over the past decade.”

All of these new artists, every single one of ’em from [Cardi B] to [Megan Thee Stallion], it’s because of Nicki,” he added. “Nicki opened that lane again. Yeah, probably Nicki.”

It is not known how Nicki Minaj feels about possibly reconciling with Charlamagne Tha God, but the two have certainly been at each other’s throats over the years. We will have to wait and see if the two will truly bury the hatchet or not.
