A university in Pakistan has been turned into a real life Hogwarts, according to Dawn. Government College University (GCU) in Lahore, the capital of the country’s eastern Punjab province, has been transformed into the magical school ahead of a Harry Potter festival.

The week-long celebrations officially commenced Monday (Nov. 29) and will continue till December 5. The university will also be holding the screening of “The Last Follower and the Resurrection of Voldemort,” a Harry Potter fan film written, directed and produced by GCU students, throughout the week.

The film is inspired by the events of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part II” and is set in the aftermath of the 2011 movie. The Deathly Hallows – Part II marked the culmination of the iconic movie franchise that began with Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

The fan film is shot entirely in GCU and features stunning visuals complemented by the gothic architecture of the historic university. The Last Follower was screened on the opening day of the festival at the university’s Bukhari Auditorium. The final show will take place on Dec. 5 to mark the end of the festival.
