Bill Cosby has been free from prison since a while now. However, his former prosecutors are still unwilling to accept the comedy legend’s win, and now want the U.S. Supreme Court to intervene.

Cosby had been given immunity from a former prosecutor as he had agree to be deposed in the Andrea Constand case. While that immunity let to him walking away from a 10-year prison sentence after serving only two, the former prosecutors want Cosby behind bars again.

TMZ reports that filed paperwork by the Pennsylvania prosecutors to the U.S. Supreme Court suggests that they want the court to re-examine the PA Supreme Court’s ruling on Cosby’s case.

Cosby had found his freedom in June after spending two years in prison while dealing with his sexual assault case. The prosecutors call the ruling in Cosby’s favor a “grievous wrong.”

The Pennsylvania prosecutors are arguing that just because Cosby was granted immunity at the time, it should not extend for the period of his lifetime. While it’s not sure whether the U.S. Supreme Court will take over the case, Cosby’s representative Andrew Wyatt has already spoken against the prosecutors, saying that they’re “unwilling to accept its epic loss.”
