Adele’s 30 Is Highest Selling Album In Debut Week For 2021

Adele had a ton of hype behind her record, 30, and it showed in a big way. Now the songstress has captured the best debut of 2021.

30 dropped on November 19th and tons of fans flocked to pick up the 12-song record. The album is just under an hour long, but it was recorded through her recent mindset. Adele also had a chance to thoroughly explain everything during her CBS special.

Her 30 album rocked the Billboard music charts upon its release. It will debut at #1 after selling 838k copies. That tops the list of 2021 album debuts with 670k of those being pure album sales according to Double Hits Daily.

Red (Taylor’s Version) sold over 600,000 units sold, but that didn’t top Adele. This week, the album will fall to No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart with 169,000 units.

It seems that Adele is going to remain a powerhouse in the music business for a long time to come.
