Converse and The Pokémon Company have joined forces to drop some merch together on the occasion of Pokémon’s 25th anniversary. Pokémon has been in the hearts of both children and adults with its long series of anime, video games and trading card collections.

The Pokémon x Converse collection features the headliner Chuck Taylor All-Star “First Partners.” It’s named after the first Pokémon partners of many of the trainers and characters from the show. The Pokémon featured in the collection are Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, Meowth, and Jigglypuff.

The classic Chuck patch in the shoes is replaced with the clever graphic of a Poké Ball. The top eyelet in the shoes is also changed by a custom license plate. The shoes also feature a lightning bolt, as a reference to Pikachu and his lightning moves as an electric-type Pokémon.

The sneakers are not the only one making it in the collection. Other apparel from the collection include tees, a Pikachu themed hoodie, a Jigglypuff crewneck and many other merchandises.
