Adele remains one of the most talented female singers in the music industry currently. She was back at the dating game for a while. This happened after she was granted an official divorce from her ex-husband, Simon Konecki. It seems Mel B was removed from her UK TV special.

On October 15th, the singer dropped her first song since 2015, an emotional track titled, “Easy On Me.” Fans were immensely hyped for the track and for good reason too. It even ended up smashing Spotify streaming records.

According to The Sun, Spice Girl member Mel B was removed from Adele’s UK TV special for making an “awkward as hell” joke about a vibrator. It was said that Mel B was “tasked with asking a question about the best gift Adele had ever received.” Unfortunately, she decided to ad-lib in a way that did not sit well with top brass at the UK network.

“When the cameras were on her, she said she felt silly asking it. Then she made a joke and said she could answer the question for Adele and said it was a vibrator.”

Mel B’s joke was removed and it was said that Adele was unfazed and brushed the whole thing off as she simply made a wisecrack about it and let it be.

“No one really laughed, but Adele made a wisecrack about it and moved on. Adele was just being her usual brilliant self.”

ITV was said to not be upset with Mel B and just decided to remove her cameo knowing that millions of families would be tuning in to see Adele sing rather than care about the joke. They were correct in that assessment as Sunday night’s special drew in a staggering 5.5 million viewers.
