Dancing With the Stars wrapped up its season 30 finale on Monday. NBA player Iman Shumpert took the mirrorball trophy home. As it is widely known DWTS has a rotating cast of professional dancers. Two beloved professional dancers say that season 30 may have been their last.

Fan-favorite professional dancers Val Chmerkovskiy and Cheryl Burke say they might be done with the show for good. While her husband Val Chmerkovskiy has stated that he is not interested to re-appear in the show again, Jenna Johnson says she will continue.

Cheryl Burke may retire from the show as she is 37 years old. But she thinks that there’s another spot for her if she’s done dancing in the ballroom as a pro. The spot is of a judge of course. Burke admitted to Hello! Magazine that she would really like to be a judge on the “Dancing With the Stars”, or even a judge on the UK-equivalent “Strictly Come Dancing”.

Cheyl does have strong experience, she was the first female professional to win the show and the first professional to win twice and consecutively. She has participated in 23 seasons. “I have been begging for that job, how many seasons does a girl have to do?” Burke joked with the outlet.

Another longstanding legend is Val Chmerkovskiy, has been contemplating retirement from “Dancing With the Stars” since earlier in the season. Val will definitely be staying busy during his time away from the show. Val and his brother frequently tour around the country. He is currently running the Dance Fitness App Dance & Co with brother Maks Chmerkovskiy.
