Lynne Spears wants to reconcile with her daughter, Britney Spears. After a contentious period which saw the end of Britney’s conservatorship, Lynne wants to make peace. She told paparazzi at LAX she had a desire to get back with Brit for Christmas.

Lynne Spears was largely involved in the plot to place Britney under the conservatorship in the first place. TMZ reports that Lynne is in Los Angeles to spend Thanksgiving with her son, Brian. A source says that there are no plans to meet up with Britney at this time.

Brian is still in touch with Britney. The guest list for Thanksgiving isn’t set. there’s a chance he might try to broker the reunification.

Britney remains furious at her family. After the ordeal they put her through, who could blame them. Britney has not experienced autonomy in her life for years due to the conservatorship.

Britney Spears too to Instagram to talk about her experience. She explained that she was unable to handle money or drive her own car during the conservatorship. She says there will be no peacekeeping with her family this time.

“I might as well do a hint of my thoughts on the gram before I go and set things square on @Oprah  !!!!! I mean who knows … I do know how embarrassing is to share the fact I’ve never seen cash or wasn’t able to drive my car …. but honestly it still blows my mind every day I wake up how my family and the conservatorship were able to do what they did to me !!!! I’m used to keeping peace for the family and keeping my mouth shut … but not this time … I have NOT FORGOTTEN”

Britney was released from her 13-year conservatorship earlier this month. Judge Brenda Penny of the L.A. Superior Court ruled that the Toxic singer was free to live her life and make her own decisions. Her team has come up with a plan to help Britney transition back into normal life after being under her father’s thumb for so long.
