Kyle Rittenhouse shot three people, killing two, while the teenage boy’s hero cosplay fantasies came true as he “protected” police and property in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He was recently acquitted on all charges related to the shootings. Now, celebrities are expressing their frustration with the verdict.

Rittenhouse crossed state lines and received a gun that he wielded to support law enforcement. He shot the three protestors, but video evidence revealed they were active threats. He got off on a self-defense rap. Many still don’t understand why he was there in the first place.

Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child tweeted that she was “not surprised.” Rapper Ice T mocked the judge with a photo of him reading a cookie catalog. Questlove of The Roots encouraged people to stay home and stay safe.

“Roots” actor and Reading Rainbow host LeVar Burton said the verdict indicated two types of justice in America. Comedian Yvette Nicole Brown of Community said that black people in the U.S. are not surprised, but they are growing more and more annoyed.

Lil Yachty lamented the state of our justice system. Tons of others, too many to name here, expressed their disbelief. Many replies to the celeb accounts showed support for the statements.

Kyle Rittenhouse, meanwhile, appeared in an interview with Tucker Carlson. He swore he’s totally not racist and supports Black Lives Matter. He simply likes to make white power hand signs while posing with Proud Boys for the sport of it.
