Saweetie‘s debut studio album ‘Pretty B#### Music’ is one of the most anticipated albums in recent times. While the artist has been teasing the release of the album since last summer, the album still remains to be finalized. The album is going through its final motions, so it is sure to drop sometime soon.

The 28-year old rapper appeared on 2021 MTV European Music Awards. MTV journalist Dometi Pongo managed to interview Saweetie, and popped the question about the delays in the release of her album. Saweetie explained why the album is facing too many delays.

It’s dropping soon. Honestly, it was a body of work with no soul. So right now I’m working on the details because I really want the world to feel me.

The rapper was gracious enough to find time to answer the key questions about her album. She was the host of this year’s MTV European Music Awards. The artist also bagged the Best New trophy at a ceremony in Hungary’s László Papp Budapest Sports Arena.

Saweetie delay in releasing her album doesn’t mean the artist has remained inactive in the meantime. The artist was part of the Bruised soundtrack, which is an all-female collaborative project. It features many key female artists, such as City Girls, H.E.R. & Flo Milli.

The ‘Bruised‘ soundtrack is created by Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry and Cardi B, who’s won a Grammy herself. The project drops Friday, with music from various female artists. Even though fans aren’t exactly getting a Saweetie album yet, they’re still receiving new music from the artist.
