Marjorie Taylor Greene Has Received Over $60K In Fines For Not Wearing A Mask

Florida Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has a reputation for being an anti-masker. She also doesn’t believe masks will help in stopping the spread of COVID-19. It seems she has racked up quite a fine for this as well.

It seems Marjorie Taylor Greene’s refusal to wear a mask in violation of House rules has cost her more than $63,000 and more to come. This means more than a third of her congressional salary has been deducted so far this year simply because of masking fines. 

According to VICE, Greene told a reporter from The Hill on Tuesday that she’s “up to $63,000” in masking fines this year. With House members being paid $174,000 a year, Greene clearly has wasted so much of her money for no reason at all.

Despite this, the Congresswoman is defiant and adamant about the fact that she will never wear a mask. In addition to that, she also hasn’t been vaccinated, which is simply just a cherry on top of the cake.

“I’m not vaccinated either. And I won’t be getting vaccinated. And that’s my own personal choice. I support people that want the vaccine. If anybody wanted one, I would drive them to go get one because I support people’s freedom to make their own decision.”

But I do not want to get the vaccine myself, and I don’t need to wear a mas. It’s not changing anything.”

Unlike the Florida Congresswomen, we urge everyone to go get vaccinated for COVID-19 and wear masks in order to stop spreading the virus as the pandemic is still far from over. There is also a reason why Dave Bautista blasted Greene previously.
