Jeremy Renner heard the accusations from his ex-wife and he isn’t going to give the time of day.

Renner reacted to his ex-wife, Sonni Pacheco, saying that he would put her life and their daughter’s at risk. The couple divorced years ago, prior to his entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Avengers actor stated in an interview with Men’s Health that he’s not giving those accusations the time of day. He made it very simple that he’s not feeding that “sh*t fire.”

“I don’t respond publicly or privately to nonsense. It only empowers it. … If you respond to it, you give it gas. I don’t fuel sh*t fires. I just don’t do it. I refuse to.”

Jeremy’s ex-wife accused him of plotting a murder-suicide. Their nanny allegedly overheard Jeremy say he was going to go to Sonni’s house to kill her, and then kill then himself. He allegedly said that “it was better that Ava had no parents than have [Sonni] as a mother.”

We will have to see if Jeremy Renner makes any more comments on the matter, but he’s not copping to it at all.

Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
