Why Pete Davidson Worked With Taylor Swift On SNL Despite Past Kim Kardashian Beef

Kim Kardashian and ‘SNL’ star Pete Davidson were seen enjoying a rollercoaster ride. The two have worked together last month when Kardashian was the host for ‘SNL.’ It seems Peter Davidson worked with Taylor Swift for a good reason.

It was said that the two were considering a relationship after kissing on ‘SNL.’ After that, Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson went on a secret date at Campania restaurant on Staten Island. As reported earlier, their recent dates weren’t filmed by the Hulu television crew.

During the latest episode of ‘SNL,’ Pete Davidson worked together with Taylor Swift during one of the skits on the show. For those who don’t know, Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift have a longstanding beef that goes back all the way to 2009. They also had a war for goods in 2016 over Kanye West’s song, “Famous.”

According to Hollywood Life, Pete Davidson working with Taylor Swift was strictly business and simply wanted to make sure the skit would get the best reactions possible.

“Pete’s intention this week and every week on SNL was to make all guests, and musical guests feel welcomed. He’d rather be friends or friendly with people coming in because it makes the show the best it can be if everyone is on the same page.

He is clearly aware of the history that Taylor has with Kim and Kanye, and he was not going to make it a thing. He wasn’t going to treat her differently. To cause any drama is the last thing he had any plans to do, and that is why it was important to make friends with Taylor and do a skit with her. Pete made sure that he “was being Switzerland in the entire situation” – as in, he was staying neutral – “because he has no beef with Taylor – so, he didn’t manufacture any.”

It was previously said that Kim Kardashian can’t stop talking about Pete Davidson as well. It remains to be seen whether Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson will eventually become a couple, as many fans are already interested in seeing the two together.
