Dana White is known to be a very controversial figure when it comes to the proper payment of UFC stars. He was called out for this fact many times by the likes of Jake Paul. However, it cannot be dismissed that Dana White has made UFC what it is today as it remains the most popular promotion for MMA in the world right now. The world of MMA has certainly grown exponentially since its humble beginnings a couple of decades ago.

On the other hand, Snoop Dogg is a veteran in the Hip-Hop world and is considered as a collective “Uncle” by many in the Hip-Hop community. This simply goes to show how universally loved and respected he truly is.

Snoop Dogg being a veteran, is certainly not afraid to show his appreciation and give the rub to newer rappers of the Hip-Hop world. He has done so on various occasions throughout his career.

While speaking on the Joe Rogan podcast. Snoop Dogg gave massive props to Dana White for helping him start his career as a color commentator and sports analyst.

They don’t know I got my start at a show called contender, which was a Dana White show. which was a show where the fighter would come and fight to get a contract, and so to speak. And one of the fighters that was on that show was Sugar Sean. And I see he came out and became a real good fighter.

They don’t understand that I got my beginnings (as a sports analyst) from the UFC World. Y’all blessed me.”

Snoop Dogg also recently said that veteran rappers should be treated as well as rock stars. In the end, Snoop Dogg is a man of many talents and that is unlikely to change anytime soon.
