Gucci Mane rapper Ralo is behind bars serving time for a 2018 criminal conspiracy arrest. Just because he’s locked up doesn’t mean his friends aren’t looking out for him. A video of Ralo speaking on a prison phone accredited to @THE_RAP_ALERT shows him thanking Lil Baby for his generosity. He says Baby sent him $50,000.

Ralo says he spent the money on merch and made a tidy $150,000 profit. Ralo says he’s hoping to be released in October. It sounds like he’s remaining industrious while he’s incarcerated. He’s thankful for his friend’s gift, but knows if he needed help, Lil Baby would be there.

“Lil Baby, I appreciate you. Lil Baby sent me $50,000 … I could call him right now and say, ‘Send me [$100,000],’ and he’ll send it to me today.”

Ralo believes his case will be wrapped up by December. He says he’s looking for character witnesses to help show the judge that he’s on the right path. He’ll serve three years’ probation if he’s allowed to go home.

“My judge scheduled my entire case to be over December. My lawyers asking for time served. I need letters and some good people that’s willing to come testify that they will help me stay on the right path while I’m on the 3 years probation. I also agreed to talk to the youth.”

Ralo’s agreement to mentor youth to keep them on the proper track might gain favor with the judge. He’s influential enough to make a difference. He’s also obviously got a keen business mind since he made $150,000 while in jail. Fans are hoping for the best as Ralo tries to turn his life around.
