Professional Fighters League MMA fighter Christian Lohsen lost a little bit of his manhood during training this week. The 26-year-old Floridian needed to have surgery to remove one testicle after he ruptured the gland while he was training. Nicknamed “Hollywood,” Lohsen has a professional record of 9-2.

Christian was most notable for a fight on Dana White’s Contender Series during season three. He lost the fight to J.J. Okanovich back in 2019. Lohsen is already cracking jokes about the unfortunate injury.

He posted a picture on Instagram from his hospital bed that was littered with a series of hashtags displaying his sporting approach to a tough situation.

“So last night was rough… in a training accident I got my left testicle ruptured by a knee which led to it getting surgically removed … thank you to everyone last night that helped me get to the hospital. I’m fine home resting, surgery went well. Doc said I won’t lose testosterone or ability to have kids from this. If I lose the other one however it’s a different story so from now on if you hit me in my last testicle we aren’t friends… lol

Several big names from the MMA world wished Christian well in the comments section. Mike Perry and Ben Saunders sent positive thoughts. So did MMA promoter Dean Toole. Christian’s good sense of humor indicates that he’s likeable among the MMA community.

Fortunately, he’s at home recovering. It’s good to hear that it won’t affect his life in any serious way. We’re sure his ego will be hurting for a while, though.

Hollywood has won 5 of his last 6 MMA bouts. The lightweight most recently defeated Jonas Flok by unanimous decision in August’s PFL Playoffs 2. It might be a while before he steps into the cage again. Get well soon, Christian!
