Disney is celebrating Disney+ Day with a treasure trove of announcements. Marvel fans might be the happiest of all. The company has released logos and release dates as well as some sneak peeks for eight new shows. They’ve also announced the return of several popular Marvel series.

The upcoming new series include Hawkeye (November 24), Moon Knight (2022), She Hulk (2022), Ms. Marvel (Summer 2022), Echo, Ironheart, Agatha: House of Harkness, and Secret Invasion. There’s also a Guardians of the Galaxy holiday special written and directed by James Gunn.

In addition to the new offerings and updates on properties we already knew about, Disney announced that they’d be reviving X-Men: The Animated Series as X-Men 97. The series takes off directly after the end of the original cartoon’s run.

Season 2 of the speculative fiction “What If…?” is also just around the corner. Spider-Man: Freshman Year will follow young Peter Parker on his road to becoming the beloved web slinging hero. Marvel Zombies will feature well-known Marvel Universe characters taking on hordes of the undead. Finally, I Am Groot will follow the coming of age of Baby Groot.

The company premiered more than 25 pieces of new content to celebration their self-created holiday. Kareem Daniel, Chairman of Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution spoke about the success of the platform.

“Two years ago, Disney+ exploded onto the scene, growing at an unprecedented rate and bringing high-quality, compelling films and series to audiences. Disney+ has become a cultural phenomenon. For Disney+ Day, we’re building on this excitement with a global celebration of our millions of subscribers in a way that only The Walt Disney Company can.”

The company also announced new releases and projects from Pixar, LucasFilm, and more. Warwick Davis will even return to reprise his role in a new Willow series. There’s a lot of great new stuff to watch coming very soon for Disney+ subscribers.
