Erika Jayne has been on the hot seat for the entirety of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion special. Despite being caught in a complicated crossfire in her real life she has been fairly active on social media.

Cryptic messages on Erika’s Instagram are not a new occurrence. She has done it in the past too. In an Instagram story Erika posted “And that’s showbiz, kid,”. The message is probably from a song called “Roxie” in Chicago the musical. Erika played the character of Roxie Hart on Chicago pre-pandemic.

The post was uploaded a few hours after the Reuters news report broke. The story covered Erika Jayne and ex-husband Lawyer Tom Girardi’s (Girardi Keese) embezzlement scandal. One month after the divorce announcement, the couple were named in a lawsuit for allegedly embezzling funds meant for families of the victims of the fatal 2018 Lion Air Crash.

The victims of the crash were Tom Girardi’s clients whose money his law firm (Girardi Keese) allegedly embezzled. The Reuters report shows a brief and financial records that the law firm Edelson brought forth in court earlier this week.

Edelson law firm filed the brief in court on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. The filing stated that the reality star allegedly received money misappropriated from victims of the Lion Air crash. Edelson has also claims that Erika’s divorce filing is a “sham”. Erika is yet to respond to the new developments in the legal proceedings.

Erika is still filming the new season of “RHOBH.” She claims that she is in a much better place than she has been — at least, that’s what she tried to convey during a chat with ExtraTV a day before the Reuters report was published.
