Adam Driver is a household name to many due to his huge presence in many Hollywood projects. Best known for his role in Marriage Story and Kylo Ren/Ben Solo in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, Driver’s career really kicked off after his role in the 2012 HBO series ‘Girls.’

Driver is soon to star alongside Lady Gaga & Jared Leto in the upcoming drama ‘House of Gucci.’ In an exclusive with Screenrant, Driver was asked about any role he had to be convinced for. The actor revealed that it was his role in ‘Girls.’ He said:

I will say Girls. I didn’t understand it. I was doing a lot of theater at the time and I didn’t really watch a lot of TV shows, which I hope doesn’t sound like elitist, but I wasn’t interested. And my agent convinced me to go in and read for Girls. And I met Lena and got the job. And it changed the course of my life.

Driver comes from a military background, and then transitioned to doing theatre projects. His luck was incredibly strong given that he happened to find a role for a TV project and went with it. The 2012 project established Driver as a strong actor, after which he appeared in a number of projects such as What If (2013) alongside Daniel Radcliffe and This Is Where I Leave You (2014) alongside Jason Bateman & Tina Fey.
