The COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect everyone in the world and that includes the likes of MMA fighters, musicians and more. Even Korn’s Jonathan Davis is still suffering from the effects of COVID-19. It seems Big Bird might be getting cancelled as well.

Various celebrities all over the world have gotten their COVID-19 vaccine. Recently, Big Bird from Sesame Street also got his own vaccine. The Sesame Street character participated in a CNN Town Hall on Saturday Morning, with the special titled The ABCs of Covid Vaccines. It saw Big Bird and other characters getting vaccinated.

Big Bird then sent a message, urging everyone to get vaccinated as well as he took to Twitter. While Big Bird had good intentions, it seems a select group of people didn’t quite take the message in the right way.

This included even Ted Cruz who said it was government propaganda. Others joined in and said that they want Big Bird cancelled. President Joe Biden also tweeted in response to Big Bird, but in a positive way.

Government propaganda…for your 5 year old!

Good on ya, @BigBird. Getting vaccinated is the best way to keep your whole neighborhood safe.

The COVID-19 pandemic is still running rampant all over the world and it is definitely necessary to get vaccinated as soon as possible. We hope more and more people realize the importance of the vaccine before it is too late.
