Travis Scott’s concert at Astroworld ended in a tragic way. Eight concertgoers lost their lives, including a 14-year-old boy. Many more, including minors, were also hospitalized in what is now being called a targeted attack. Now fans are looking at other examples when concerts were stopped to deal with unruly crowds.

We previously covered how Linkin Park and #RIPChester trended as older LP concert footage went viral that showed the famous band stopping a show to make sure that fans were safe in the pit. Dave Grohl is also trending for that same reason.

One fan tweeted out to say, “Yep. Kurt Cobain stopped a show because ONE girl was being assaulted. Layne Staley stopped a show to beat up a Nazi. Dave Grohl stopped a FF show bc 2 people were fighting in the crowd. RHCP stopped BDO Fest when their crowd got out of control and people were being crushed.”

There are many instances of concerts being stopped because things were not safe for the crowd. Slipknot just recently stopped a concert because of a giant fire that fans started in front of the stage.

Sadly, Travis Scott had no idea how tragic his concert was. Nobody told him about the situation until the show was already over. He is not an emotional wreck because of it.
