NFL star Aaron Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this week. Due to this, he was removed from Sunday’s game with the Kansas City Chiefs. It was said that he was unvaccinated.

It was also said that Aaron Rodgers misled everyone including the NFL regarding his vaccination status. Aaron Rodgers appeared in preseason photos standing on the sideline in street clothes without a mask. Due to this, he could be facing harsh punishment as well.

According to ESPN, several coaches and front-office executives have complained that their teams were held to different COVID-19 protocol standards over the summer than the Green Bay Packers.

While the NFL instructed teams that unvaccinated players were required to wear masks along the sideline during preseason games, Aaron Rodgers did not adhere to the guidelines. One team executive said he received a memo from the NFL about the COVID-19 protocols that read: “Any such individual with bench area access who is not fully vaccinated except for active players shall be required to wear masks at all times. Unvaccinated inactive players must also wear masks.”

Naturally, this led to a lot of executives being furious after seeing the Green Bay Packers receiving preferential treatment when it came to the COVID-19 guidelines.

That’s B.S. … What’s going on in Green Bay, that’s not what teams were told by the NFL. Our players wore masks all the time. We made our guys that weren’t playing wear masks.

The NFL is investigating how the Packers handled COVID-19 protocols at their facility and around games as well. On top of that, it was said that Rodgers and the Packers will be fined but will not receive any suspensions. We will keep you updated on this ongoing story.
