Scarface made tons of fans and laid down plenty of biting bars in his career, but it seems that his days spitting lyrics is over. He is done with rap music now.

As a member of the Geto Boys, Scarface brought a lot of attention to himself. That seems to be behind him now and the veteran entertainer is moving on.

While talking to the Ghetto Boys Reloaded podcast, Scarface revealed that he is done with rap. He has a desire to branch out into something different now, and he is exploring those different genres.

“[I’m] done with the rap. I want to do something different now … If I could, I would love to go into a different lane of music. Maybe blues or rock. Maybe alternative. I want to do something different now.”

Scarface’s next track might be in the blues variety, but that won’t totally close the door for his rap career. We’ll have to see if he makes his way back to the microphone, but Scarface also seems very confident in his decision to leave rap music behind.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
