Henry Ruggs was involved in a terrible accident that took the life of a 23-year-old woman and her dog. That fiery crash could have been avoided, but the Las Vegas Raiders player was going a reported 156 MPH at the time of the wreck. Now he is facing the consequences.

Ruggs was slapped with four felonies and a misdemeanor charge. He is currently being charged with DUI resulting in death charge, but now, he has four more charges under his name, according to TMZ. These charges are for DUI resulting in substantial bodily harm, reckless driving X2, and possessing a gun under the influence of alcohol.

Ruggs was also hit with a misdemeanor charge of possessing a gun under the influence of alcohol on top of it. He had a loaded gun in his car at the time of the wreck.

According to TMZ, if convicted of all charges Ruggs could face 46 years behind bars. Needless to say, his NFL career is in huge peril right now, especially after the Raiders took his jersey off their team store.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
