The Squid Game’s popularity is unavoidable and everyone is waiting for season two. In the meantime, people are still watching the breakout Netflix show in a big way.

As per Nielsen, “Squid Game” was the most streamed piece of media in the United States between 4th and 10th of October. It seems that the series’ popularity is not going to die down any time soon.

Not only has the Netflix series been viewed by 142 million households, but it has also racked up 3.26 billion viewing minutes in the previous week, becoming the sixth title to clear the 3 billion mark.

Nielsen’s methodology only accounts for streaming via television screens, and only collects data from Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, Hulu and Disney+.
