Superman is most definitely one of the most iconic superheroes of all time, spanning decades and multiple iterations. He has been present in various mediums and also remained a major topic of discussion. It seems Superman artists are at risk now.

DC recently revealed that Superman will be bisexual in the latest issue of the comic series. This was celebrated within the LGBTQ+ community, but not everyone was happy with this change at all.

According to TMZ, police officers have said that LAPD officers were recently dispatched to patrol the homes of some of the illustrators/production staffers who created the latest iteration of Superman. This is due to the backlash the artists received death threats.

It was said that the ticked off comic book readers inundated the studios to voice their displeasure with the character’s newly-announced sexuality. It was added that studios called LAPD, requesting for patrols keep a watch on the private residences of some artists, and at the studio itself.

It was said that police officers did make their patrols nonetheless. Regardless, it is a cause for concern that people were offended by something like superman becoming bisexual.
