Lil Durk has had some issues keeping the attention of his fans lately. Despite being rejected by fans at a recent show, his Back Outside tour did some impressive business. Like him or not, Durk is a popular rapper.

French Montana recently took to Twitter to take credit for Durk’s popularity. French says he put several rappers, including Durk, on the map. The tweets also served to promote his forthcoming “They Got Amnesia” album.

“THEY GOT AMNESIA LIKE I DIDN’T GIVE THEM CHINX DRUGZ LIL DURK AND HARRY FRAUD.”

On Halloween, Durk refuted Montana’s claim on his own Instagram. Durk called cap on French Montana’s claims. This comes despite the fact that Durk credited French Montana for turning his career around in a 2019 Instagram post. Durk is definitely giving off mixed signals.

Durk recently came under fire for no-showing an appearance at Rolling Loud New York. The controversial rapper seems to be unable to get away from negative press. Not showing up or phoning in a live performance certainly doesn’t help his cause.

Lil Durk was on French Montana’s Coke Boys label in 2011, but never did a release for them. The two have collaborated on several songs over the years. French Montana’s “They Got Amnesia” dropped last week and spawned the hit single “I Don’t Really Care.”
