Tampa Bay Buccaneers Quarter Back Tom Brady and his super-model wife Gisele Bündchen have been married for twelve long years and have met with challenges together.

Brady and Bündchen make a strong and lovely couple and have two beautiful children together but it seems like every relation has its highs and lows. Brady opened up about his marriage struggles on the Oct. 26 episode of his SiriusXM podcast “Let’s Go!“.

Brady explained how embracing retirement isn’t equally easy for both of them to accomplish.

“But that’s an issue, and it’s a very difficult issue to reconcile without just saying, ‘Hey, it’s time to retire.’ And I think there’s, you know, we’re coming to the end here too, so I don’t want to miss any of the kids’ stuff,” Brady told co-hosts Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray.

The NFL Champion then went on to Highlight the sacrifices his wife has made to keep their marriage and family happy like retiring from modelling since 2015 to manage household and family dynamics;

“I think my wife has, you know, held down the house for a long time now, and I think there’s things that she wants to accomplish. You know, she hasn’t worked as much in the last 10, 12 years just raising our family and kind of committing to being in a life in Boston and then moving to Florida,”

Brady’s retirement age has been talked about a lot though he continues to dominate the league even at the age of 44. Brady has said next season, the final one of his Buccaneers contract, is likely to be his last although he wishes to play till he’s 50.
