LeBron James’s contributions to the world of professional basketball cannot be understated. James suffered a serious injury to his right ankle in the Lakers’ game against the Atlanta Hawks back in March. Even after coming back, James has never been the same. It seems James had a lot of praise for an NBA star recently.

Many famous players have their own personal pre-game routine that helps them get prepared for upcoming games. This also includes LeBron James, who has his own routine. As fans are aware, he does his chalk toss before every single game. His son also did the same recently as well.

The Los Angeles Lakers faced off against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday night. Despite Evan Mobley’s best efforts, his time couldn’t beat the Lakers. However, his performance did make an impression on many and that includes LeBron James.

According to Cleveland.com’s Chris Fedor, LeBron James gave massive props to the Cleveland Cavaliers rookie Evan Mobley. James said Mobley is “going to be a damn good basketball player in this league” shortly after Lakers’ 113-101 win over the Cavaliers.

“It’s so crazy because he was just playing against my son a couple years ago. It’s weird. It’s getting more weird by the day. He was playing against my son in the playoffs two years ago and obviously we saw what he did in the tournament — just electrifying. Cleveland has a good one. They’ve done a good job over the years in the draft, I’ll say.”

Mobley had a team-high 23 points along with six rebounds, three assists and two steals for Cleveland. He is also averaging 15.3 points and 8.2 rebounds through six games. The sky is the limit for the young player so it remains to be seen how he will grow over the years.
