Halloween cult classic Hocus Pocus (1993) is set to have a sequel nearly 30 years after its initial release. The Disney movie won’t keep all of its original cast though.

The movie resurrects three witches played by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy after 300 years to exact revenge and begin a reign of terror after a young Salem resident, Max played by Omri Katz, lights a cursed Candle of Black Flame on Halloween.

Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy will be reprising their original roles as Sanderson witches in the Disney+ sequel but sadly Omri Katz is left out of the equation.

Omri Katz told TMZ that although the fans would love to have in the sequel at least in some capacity, his phone has been bone-dry in regards to a potential return.

Katz, who held main roles in Dallas and Eerie, Indiana, before Hocus Pocus has been away from the screen for quite a while now. Al though he’s ready and willing to make a come back, running The Mary Danksters, his marijuana business is his first priority.
