Fetty Wap was scheduled to perform at Rolling Loud New York on October 28. The performance never happened. That’s because he was arrested by federal agents before his set even began.

Police sources have informed TMZ of the arrest. The FBI took Fetty into their custody at New York’s Citi Field on Thursday. The charges are federal and drug-related in nature, but specifics aren’t yet known.

Fetty has had a rough year. He revealed that his four-year-old daughter passed away over the summer. He’s also been criticized by fans for exhibiting toxic masculinity.

The rest of Rolling Loud went on as planned without Fetty Wap. 50 Cent headlined Thursday’s performances and featured a surprise appearance by DaBaby. DaBaby was recently in hot water for making homophobic statements at Rolling Loud Miami.

Fetty’s camp hasn’t spoken publicly about the arrest yet. His most recent release was You Know the Vibes in 2020. Fans were looking forward to his return to the stage, but the arrest nixed that plan.

Rolling Loud New York continue through the weekend. J. Cole headline Friday night’s festivities. Saturday’s top performer will be Travis Scott. We’ll have an update on the status of Fetty’s legal trouble as soon as more information becomes available.
