CM Punk Says Dune Should Have Been Six Hours Long

Hollywood is all about cashing in on nostalgia and Dune is no different. The new re-make of the classic film is out now and it dominated the box office. Now CM Punk is giving his take on the new motion picture.

Dune was stuck in developmental hell for the longest time. Production issues along with the pandemic did not help things. Now that the movie is finally out it seems to have lived up to expectations.

CM Punk, who is a wrestler with plenty of acting nods on his resume, watched Dave Bautista’s new film and gave it a glowing rating. He didn’t hand out any stars to rate the picture, but he did remark how the film could have been far longer.

I watched @dunemovie and I loved it. Should’ve been six hours. Literally felt like I needed MORE of everyone, but wasn’t let down at all. Quite the contrary. What a beautiful movie. Everything was BIG a visually stunning.

Dune was a huge undertaking and plenty of fans lined up to see how this reboot would come across. Now that the picture is out many more are calling for the start of a new franchise. We have to wonder if CM Punk might be up for a role if they start casting a sequel.
