It was during a concert in Memphis, Tennessee that country artist, Kane Brown hurt himself during his set. According to TMZ, the singer twisted his ankle while simply jumping a few feet off of the stage at one point.

It was Saturday night in the city’s FedEx Forum that the incident occurred. Videos of the incident show that the sprain or twist was pretty bad, as do shots of the ankle on social media after the fact.

Security is shown trying to help the performer, he taking the help of course. The band played on while they didn’t know what was happening, but when their singer didn’t reappear after disappearing off the side of the stage in what looked simply like he was going to salute some fans, they stopped eventually.

Very much like a pro, he didn’t let the injury stop him, those in attendance suggest. He apparently played on, despite the pain of his injury. This was even though eye-witnesses claimed that the man was quite evidently in serious pain, he also in tears at one point some witnesses said.

‘The show must go on’ is a term not necessarily respected by all artists….just ask Axl Rose of Guns n’ Roses, but this young man here powered through, injury or not, to the delight of his fans in attendance.

Some fans have also wondered what’s to become of the rest of the tour, but Kane himself assured his fans that the tour, just like the aforementioned concert, would go on as planned.
